Резюме:
Natural morphology, which is a well-developed theory with a whole system of linguistic analysis, and the Bulgarian language with its long and well-documented history offer an ideal opportunity, on one hand, to study the principles of natural morphology, and, on the other, to interpret already known changes in a new system of linguistic analysis. This article aims to succinctly explain how the principles of natural morphology constantly operate and affect the way and the direction of language change, and how these principles are affected by the rotation of the five levels of linguistic analysis. All of this can be demonstrated using the historical change of the Bulgarian participles.
