John Chrysostom’s homilies Against the Jews are part of the author’s rich heritage which belongs to the homiletic genre. They are part of the Slavic version of the collection containing Chrysostom’s homilies and sermons called Margarit which appeared in the 14th century. The translation is thought to have been carried out by Dionysius, a famous writer at that time. This paper takes into account word formation and semantics of derivative nouns denoting persons, in particular those formed with suffixes -ьnikъ/-enikъ as registered in the anti-Judaic discourses. The material is excerpted from manuscript № F.I.197 from the Russian National Library.
