The article analyses graphic compositions, also known as memes, as an element of the language-game based on homonyms of proper names. The study object comprises various graphic compositions published in the Vkontakte social network, intended mainly for Russianspeaking users. The pictures selected by the author consist of graphic elements (the actual image) and short texts in the form of comments, remarks and utterances of personages, inscriptions, etc. Although the language-game is the object of research for many contemporary linguists, the use of the methods of language-games to publish on social networks Internet memes is rarely analysed. The graphic compositions often contain valuable language material, which may be the object of research in the context of the language-game.
