Abstract:

The present study aims to expose aspects of the structure of Eric Reinhardt’s novel “Sarah, Susanne and the Writer”, published in 2023, with the aim of demonstrating the primordial value that it acquires for the revelation of a scenario underlying. The complexity of the novel form conceals the particular emphasis on detail as a narrative element, which represents the second point of interest of the study. Although limited to the form of the work studied, it necessarily opens the way to a reflection on the multiple questions raised by the subject of the novel and its plot.
