Резюме:
The paper is a result of 10 years of research on the literary work of Nikola Vaptsarov and is a sequel of the author’s monograph about the poet and the sailor, who related the sea and the machines with the human’ soul and who praised faith and love, freedom and peace, issued in 2009. Nikola Vaptsarov’s contribution as a poet and an innovator in creating new poetic forms and giving a soul to the machines, the ships and the sea has been investigated. Considering the great contribution of Nikola Vaptsarov to the spiritualization of the sea and the machines and creating a unified harmony and synergy with the human soul the author proposes establishing a Presidential Vaptsarov International Prize “The Sea and the Machines”.
