Резюме:

Since the beginning of Krum’s dynasty established on the Bulgarian throne in 796, the murder of Tsar Gavril Radomir-Roman (†August 1015) was the first case in the history of the early medieval Bulgarian state when its ruler was violently overthrown and murdered by their relatives and the second case of a coup after the overthrow of Vladimir- Rasate (889 – 893) from the throne in 893. The article used Old Bulgarian (Synodikon of the Bulgarian Church, Beadrolls of the Bulgarian Tsars, Old Bulgarian apocryphal and apocalyptic writings, Old Bulgarian translation of Zonara’s Chronicle), Byzantine (Ioannes Scylitzes, Ioannes Zonaras, Ioannes Staurakios), Latin (Gesta regum Sclavorum/ Choronicle of Duklja, Lupus Protospatharius) and Arab (Yaôy al-An¾ÂkÓ, al-Makin) sources about the events in the Bulgarian Tsardom during 1014 – 1015.
