Резюме:
This project addresses challenges in veterinary education through a Virtual Reality (VR) application. A survey with 45 veterinary students and 10 veterinarians, conducted with Dr. Kazakova and the non-profit organization Green Balkans, shaped the application’s concept. It simulates a realistic veterinary environment, allowing users to explore canine anatomy and interact with realistic equipment. Key elements include a 1:1 scale 3D model of a veterinary clinic, detailed dog anatomy modeling, and VR integration using Unity’s XRI. The DOG (Dog Observation Gizmo) system enables interactive anatomical study in a virtual setting. To ensure user comfort, features like vignette effects, teleportation, and snap turning were implemented, along with various optimization methods for a smooth experience.
